Occupational Therapy

Special Care provides on-site Occupational Therapy to students in need. Occupational Therapy focuses on helping children with a physical, sensory, or cognitive disability be as independent as possible in all areas of their lives. Occupational Therapy can help children with various needs improve their cognitive, physical, sensory, and motor skills and enhance their self-esteem and sense of accomplishment.

At Special Care, our on-site Occupational Therapists use innovative therapies that produce positive outcomes for our students. Our therapists work with our teaching to staff to bring what a student is working on according to their treatment plan to the classroom. This creates more opportunity for therapeutic growth for the child. For more information about Special Care’s on-site Occupational Therapy, you may submit your question/request here.
