Physical Therapy

Special Care provides on-site Physical Therapy (PT) to students in need. Physical Therapy is often recommended to children who have experienced injuries or who have mobility problems from an illness, disease, or disability. Physical Therapy improves quality of life, increases range of motion, strength, coordination, mobility skills and balance.

At Special Care, our on-site Physical Therapists use innovative therapies that produce positive outcomes for our students. Our therapists work with our teaching to staff to bring what a student is working on according to their treatment plan to the classroom. This creates more opportunity for therapeutic growth for the child. For more information about Special Care’s on-site Physical Therapy, you may submit your question/request here.
